A little about me
I am a person-centred therapist with a warm, down-to-earth approach. I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, and I aim to help you feel at ease from the very beginning. Having experienced both sides of the therapeutic relationship, I appreciate how vulnerable this process can be. I bring my genuine self into the therapy room, offering a calm, cosy space where you will be met with empathy, understanding, and without judgement.
From a young age, I knew I wanted a career that would make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. This led me to train in person-centred counselling. At the heart of my work is the belief that you are the expert in your own life. You hold the answers within you, and my role is to support you in exploring your thoughts and feelings, so you can make sense of your experiences and move forward in a way that feels right for you.
I offer a confidential, supportive space where you can explore any challenges you may be facing. I work alongside you at your own pace, helping you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships, and the world around you.
I care deeply about the people I work with and am committed to ongoing personal and professional development to ensure I provide the best possible support. I hold a first-class honours degree in person-centred counselling and have undertaken additional training in mental health awareness, as well as telephone and online counselling.
I have experience working with a wide range of issues, including:
-
Anxiety
-
Depression
-
Trauma
-
Neurodiversity
-
Self-harm
-
Grief
-
Addiction
-
Co-dependency

This is not an exhaustive list. I welcome working with any issue you may wish to bring and offer support to individuals aged 18 and over. I am committed to creating an inclusive, respectful space for all, and I actively uphold the principles of equality and diversity in line with the Equality Act 2010.
